Cuando pisé París el jueves por la tarde no me imaginaba lo que estaba por venir. Nada más llegar a la capital francesa acudí a la increíble fiesta que Ermenegildo Zegna había preparado, pero el trabajo duro aún estaba por llegar... El viernes tuve una cita con el desfile de Walter Van Beirendonck, que resultó ser muy llamativo por sus colores pero también por el atrezzo de los modelos. Acto seguido fue el turno de Kris Van Assche, algo más sobrio pues la gama de tonalidades no superaba la escala de grises. Y cuando todo parecía haber terminado, llegó la sorpresa del día: Scott Schuman por las calles de París. ¡Fue algo realmente emocionante ver cómo trabaja en directo el autor de The Sartorialist! Por la noche me esperaba la fiesta de Givenchy, no sin antes pasar por la de Lacoste con Yelle de fondo (¡desde entonces soy fan de esta canción!). El sábado asistí a los desfiles de Cerruti, Petar Petrov y Damir Doma. Y aunque el domingo fue el último día y casi no me quedaban fuerzas, todavía pude ver los diseños de Arnys.

Esta ha sido, muy resumida en texto e imágenes, mi semana de la moda masculina en París. No cabe duda de que he vivido cada minuto de esta experiencia, y doy las gracias a todas las personas con las que he compartido este viaje (incluso con las que sólo he cruzado un par de palabras), por hacer de estos días una de las mejores semanas de mi vida.

When I stepped Paris on Thursday afternoon I had no idea about what was going to happen. The first event I had was the incredible Ermenegildo Zegna's party, but hard word was still to come... On Friday I had an appointment with the Walter Van Beirendonck show, which was very striking due to the colors but also the accessories. Then it was time for Kris Van Assche, something quieter than the previous (its colors were between black and white). And when all seemed over, the surprise of the day occurred: Scott Schuman found on the streets of Paris. It was soooo exciting to see how the author of The Sartorialist carried out his job! At night I attended the Givenchy party, but before I went to the Lacoste party, where Yelle was singing (since then I'm crazy for this song!). On Saturday I also attended the shows of Cerruti, Petar Petrov and Damir Doma. And although Sunday was the last day and I hardly had forces, I could still see the designs of Arnys.
This has been, in brief, my Paris Men's Fashion Week. Needless to say that I've lived every minute of this great experience, and I want to thank all the people I've shared with these days (even with that I spoke just a few words). They made one of the best weeks of my life!
